Mademoiselle Yvette Troispoux, photographe

Time Out says

Part of the Mois de la Photo, this is a collection of the most impressive of the shots taken by the ‘photographer of photographers’, Robert Doisneau’s ‘photolover’ Yvette Troispoux, who died in 2007. For 50 years, she took photos with a Leica, shopping bag over her shoulder, without ever worrying about the commercial value of her work. Today, discoveries among Yvette's oeuvre include portraits of celebrities like Gisèle Freund, Édouard Boubat, Brassaï and Helmut Newton, views of Paris and the banks of the Seine as far as her home town of Coulommiers, self portraits, and some African reportage.
