Review:

A restaurant with a real personality, everything about Les Elles – from the homely ambience to the inventive dishes on offer – strikes one as thoroughly good natured. Neither entirely French nor wholly Vietnamese, the dishes are a testament to the power of fusion, taking on ideas from both schools of cuisine to create a menu with an unusual abundance of flavours and ideas. The red sofas, warm orchre paintwork and general bric a brac hanging from the walls add to the feeling of welcome created by the bubbly hostess Christine, her young and devoted clientele now counting themselves fans of the daring ideas and comforting presentation of Les Elles as much as the owner herself.
