Also known as No Name Bar, Secret Bar, 3 Fade Street, and Snail Bar, the bare-bones Bar with No Name above Kelly’s Hotel has serious loft party vibes. Accessed via rickety stairs, it comprises three cavernous sitting rooms and a tented terrace. Mismatched, decaying furniture, fairy lights, Helmut Newton photographs, and an open fireplace cement the home-y feel. Owners couldn’t decide on a name when they opened the space, but now its de facto titles are on every hip Dublinner’s lips. Cocktails like mojitos and passion fruit caipirinhas are responsible for most of the buzz, though the weekend brunch draws an especially vivacious crowd.
Time Out tip: Look for the large wooden snail to find the bar’s “hidden” entrance. DJs spin until the wee hours on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.
