Moored in the Boise de Boulogne facing the Hippordrome de Longchamp is this large, beautiful galleon turned banquet hall, open daily for lunches and dinner. Seeing itself as less of a restaurant and more an invitation to travel and explore distant horizons, Le Galion’s menu is fittingly diverse, taking inspiration from everywhere from Tahiti to the Caribbean without abandoning a flair for traditional French cuisine (fois gras and snails remain favourites). An upper and lower deck and sizeable bridge terrace have all the old nautical charm you might expect, the ship being restored to its former glory in 2007, just over a hundred years since it first touched the water.
